Panna Cotta

       Panna Cotta is one of the famous Desert in Italian Cuisine. Panna cotta is fully made of cream and sugar. It has creamy texture and a milky sweet taste. The main ingredients for this is Cream, Sugar, Gelatin and the extracts may vary, you can also use almond extract and some other extract which you like instead of vanilla extract. The best desert after meal is panna cotta. You must try.

 

            Panna Cotta

Ingredients

  • 90 grms of White Sugar
  • 1tbsp of vanilla Extract
  • 300 ml of cream
  • 3 Gelatin Leaves
  • 250 gm Fresh Strawberries

 Methods

For Panna Cotta

  • Place the Gelatin Leaves in the water for 7mins. It has to become soft.
  • Meanwhile let cook panna cotta.
  • Heat the pan and put Cream in the pan but do not Boil it.
  • Just cook when you see the bubbles ion the sides of the pan, the cream is cooking, Cook on medium low Heat.
  • Add 90 grams of sugar and stir well.
  • Add 1tbsp vanilla Extract, you can also use Almond extract or any other extract which you like. Stir well.
  • Now lets squeeze the water out of the Gelatin Leaves.
  • Add the gelatin leaves in the pan when it’s hot. Stir well.
  • When Gelatin is completely melted, turn of the stove and  Transfer the panna cotta into a Glass.
  • Cover the Panna Cotta before you put it in the fridge.
  • Keep it in fridge minimum of 4 hours or over the night.
  • It has to set well.

For Strawberry Sauce

  • Cut the strawberries into four pieces. You can also use raspberries, blueberries or jam on your Panna Cotta.
  • First step is place a pan on stove and cook the strawberries on a medium heat.
  • Add 50gm of sugar and add 2tbsp of water.
  • Cook strawberries for maximum 5min. If you want you can make extra sauce for your Pancakes also.
  • Get the strawberries out from the pan and use the blender to blend the strawberries.
  • Lovely looking, tasty panna cotta strawberry sauce is ready.
  • Keep it Cover and place it in the fridge for 4 hours or over the night.
  • After 4 hours take the panna cotta from the fridge.
  • Add the strawberry sauce on the panna cotta.
  • At last you can add blueberries and mint on the panna cotta for decoration.
